How did that nutty guy Pete get started with this hot sauce gig?
For many years, Pete was giving away his special homemade hot sauce blends to friends and neighbors. After a while, his wife gave him a kick in the ass and told him to get a real job. So he hooked up with a professional hot sauce maker and the rest is history.

Is it true that old man Tabasco has a bounty on Pete's head?
No, this is a nasty rumor started by people who have tried HydroHot or perhaps by jealous competitors on hot sauce discussion boards.

How hot is Pete's HydroHot Hydroponic Hot Sauce?
It's hot enough for the hot sauce gourmet who eats hot sauce every single day of his life. It will leave you wisping your lips for about five minutes. If you very rarely dabble in heat, you better stretch the sauce with a good barbecue sauce or salad dressing. It you can eat a habernero raw, it may not be hot enough. But then again, if you're eating haberneros straight, your taste buds are in another dimension by now.

Why the orange color?
There are a lot of red hot sauces already out there. Our blend has a carrot base and a lot of orange habernero peppers. It's actually quite striking when used by itself. It also mixes well with red barbecue sauces, blue cheese, ranch dressing and even ketchup.
